Cheap New World Gold Amazon Game Studios’ upcoming MMORPG New World has been delayed yet again, this time to give the studio more time to add content before the game’s release. Less than two weeks ago, Amazon announced that its free-to-play shooter Crucible was being put back into closed beta not long after its launch in an unprecedented move for a developer.

New World is a team-based, player-vs.-player-vs.-environment survival game with elements of exploration, resource exploitation, and expansion. The MMO is set on the fictional supernatural island of Aeternum in the 17th century, where players will battle an evil humanoid force mutated by a force known as the Corruption.

Earlier versions of Amazon Game Studios' MMO nagged players with thirst and hunger, but now a sip from the bucket of river water in my inventory just replenishes a little health. Camping also feels a little like a vestigial organ from New World's old life as a survival game, even if campsites are still useful as respawn sites. Little seems to be precious to this dev team: If it isn't working it gets sanded down or reshaped into something else. The survival systems didn't make it, but you can still cook up useful buffs.

While Lawrence says that alpha testers liked what they saw of New World, impressions from previews have been mixed. New World was originally pitched as a PvP-heavy experience, but after finding that its community had a problem with griefing, the importance of PvP was dialed back, leading to some backlash from fans. Later previews had fans criticising New World’s graphics and gameplay, saying that they didn’t seem up to par for a modern-day title.
